Pictures and Letter from Oku

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, I write to inform you that the Drobonso project is already in session, with the engineers having been on the field to start. At the moment the water has been drilled and plans are in progress to complete its mechanization.

Concerning the perculiar situation and challenge of OKU community, the committee is already in talks with with Engineer and other experts and bidders to see a forward. It could be noted that, some progress have been made and hopefully soon everything would be sorted out, that the project can start in earnest.

The committee for the project is a six(6) member committee comprising of the following members.

Rev. Fr. Peter Owusu Mensah (Diocesan Development Coordinator)
Rev. Fr. James Opoku Boaheng (Parish Priest, Fumesua)
Rev. Fr. Martin Asiedu Preprah (Rector, Asotwe)
Rev. Fr. John Yaw Opoku Agyemang Quainoo (Diocesan Communications Director)
Rev. Fr. Seth Frimpong (committee Secretary, PMS Director)
Mrs. Janet Ampah (member)

At the committee’s previous meetings, it was decided that meeting with the beneficiaries beforehand were necessary and the meetings have been carried out respectively with the various parties involved having expressed their happiness and readiness to accept the project.

I would like to indicate that, henceforth the following email would be the official email with which the committee would be communicating with you, so that transparency may prevail.

Find attached pictures of the engineers on site working as well as meeting with the various beneficiaries.

Thank you and remain blessed.
